We’re seeking an Apprentice Technician to work alongside our Heavy Duty Transmission Specialist — an excellent opportunity to learn the craft, gain hands-on training, and grow your career in the automotive industry. Why Join North Bay Ford? * Health, Medical, and Dental Coverage * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Paid Time Off & Vacation * Employee Vehicle Purchase Plans * Family-Owned & Operated – with long-term job security * Growth Opportunities – we promote from within * Flexible Work Schedule * Supportive Team Environment Responsibilities * Perform repair work as assigned on repair orders with guidance from senior technicians. * Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to assist in troubleshooting issues. * Learn to diagnose, maintain, and repair key vehicle systems: engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, steering, HVAC, and more. * Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about repair needs and timelines. * Assist in executing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications * 1–2 years of service or automotive experience preferred (but not required). * High school diploma or equivalent required. * ASE certifications and/or Ford training a plus (training support provided). * Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn. * Ability to operate diagnostic and repair tools with guidance. * Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills. * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
