Individual Placement Job Coach
Achievement House Inc. (AHI) is a respected nonprofit with a 70-year legacy of empowering individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a dedicated Individual Placement Job Coach to join our team. If you are passionate about making a difference and contributing to your community, this role is for you! We offer a $250 Hiring Bonus for this position. Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver continuous vocational training and guidance tailored to individual abilities and growth objectives.
- Ensure contract requirements are met, maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Uphold a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with individuals served and the community.
- Encourage and teach client advocacy skills, and advocate on behalf of individuals when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current California driver's license & auto insurance (driving is a part of this role)
- Ability to pass a LiveScan background check
- Reliable transportation
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to serve as a role model for adults with disabilities
- Must be able to work until 8:00 PM pm some days
- Must be available one weekend day
- Must have basic computer/technology skills and knowledge
Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour plus benefits/perks!
