Development Productivity! What do we do: We focus on the internal developers at ServiceNow! The company has grown quite a bit over the last few years. What worked for a company with ??? engineers needs to evolve to support the ever-growing list of engineers we are hiring every day. Our group constantly evaluates the current development pipelines, local developer environment, and release infrastructure in an effort to provide the best developer experience possible.What you get to do in this role:
- We are a unique cloud company, one that is gaining tremendous adoption with large enterprises. You will get the opportunity to learn first-hand the technical internals of our market leading SaaS platform that is expected to disrupt several established spaces.
- Develop a high potential enterprise SaaS product for a fast-growing cloud company, using a market leading development platform and hosting infrastructure.
- Work closely with product managers and customers in building out the product features, in an Agile manner.
- Develop apps on ServiceNow platform, plugins, frameworks and tools for a variety of projects that define the way that developers implement our product.
- Work on automating everything possible within our engineering processes
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- Passion for software development and problem solving
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
- Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented and modularized software
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript
- Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and basic shell scripting
- Experience with DB design concepts and ability to write high-performance SQ
- Outstanding organizational communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrable knowledge in working with Jenkins/Maven/Gradle or similar (Nice to Have)
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years in developing large scale distributed web based applications.
- 6+ years hands-on coding experience using OO languages such as Java
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $163,600--$ 286,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
