With a strong portfolio of ongoing and completed projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (USAFCEC), and the U.S. Department of State (DOS), they are committed to excellence in execution and compliance in all aspects of construction and project delivery.
The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Quality Control to lead and expand the Quality Control Organization within the Federal Services Division. Reporting directly to the Division President, this executive role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring compliance across all projects, and cultivating a high-performing team of Quality Control professionals.
The selected individual will oversee a portfolio of large-scale design-build infrastructure projects in both domestic and international settings. This is a unique opportunity to shape and scale a best-in-class quality control function within one of the industrys most respected federal contractors.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Lead the Federal Services Division's Quality Control Organization.
- Develop a strategic growth and staffing plan for QC across all current and future projects.
- Ensure forward-looking quality staffing aligned with project pursuits and backlog.
- Oversee the recruitment and development of high-caliber Construction Quality Control Managers.
- Support Project Managers and Executives by ensuring strong QC performance on all projects.
- Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and project-specific plans.
- Serve as subject matter expert on all QC-related proposal content.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement technology and software solutions for QC operations.
- Lead training and development programs to enhance the performance and career growth of QC personnel.
- Serve as the final authority on escalated QC matters across the Division.
- Take on additional executive-level assignments as directed by the Division President.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Quality Control roles within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated leadership of QC teams on USACE, NAVFAC, and design-build projects.
- USACE Contractor Quality Control Certification required.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to pass government background and security screenings.
- Security Clearance (Secret or TS) preferred.
- This role requires 25-50% traveling across the US.
