Maintenance Technician
The Junior Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance Supervisor and overall maintenance team in the daily upkeep, repair, and inspection of the property. This role assists with general maintenance tasks while developing hands-on knowledge of building systems, equipment, and property operations.
Key responsibilities include assisting with routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and property inspections to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment. The Junior Maintenance Technician helps conduct basic safety checks and follows established emergency procedures under the guidance of senior staff.
This position requires clear communication with maintenance team members, vendors, and contractors regarding work orders, projects, and maintenance needs. The Junior Maintenance Technician also works collaboratively with maintenance staff, grounds, painters, and renovation teams, taking direction on assigned tasks and supporting various property needs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, or Regional Manager.
