  • Analyze Schematics: Read and interpret complex electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and datasheets to trace signals and pinpoint faulty components.
  • Automate Testing: Develop, debug, and maintain Python scripts for automated test sequences, data logging, and hardware validation.
  • Run Diagnostics: Interface with PCBAs using the Linux command line and shell scripts to check logs, run diagnostics, and support debugging.
  • Document Work: Meticulously record test results, failure analysis findings, and repair actions in the company’s tracking system.

  • Using Test Equipment: Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Python & Automation: Experienced in writing and maintaining Python scripts for test automation and hardware interaction.
  • Technical Interpretation: Able to read schematics, datasheets, and assembly drawings with accuracy.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Strong communicator who documents work clearly and partners effectively with engineers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting PCBAs at the component level.
  • Proficiency with standard electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and datasheets.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and hardware interaction.
  • Familiarity with Linux command line and basic shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability for the full 6–8 week project duration.
