About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure and backend systems to join our team building AI-powered customer engagement solutions. You’ll be instrumental in developing scalable, secure, and production-grade systems that bring real-time AI capabilities to life.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services supporting AI-driven customer experiences.
• Develop secure, efficient CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment of AI features and models.
• Implement and fine-tune containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers to deploy, serve, and monitor LLMs and generative models in production.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of customer-facing systems.
• Drive automation and optimization across development, staging, and production environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure design decisions, including Terraform modules and cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, focusing on cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP services (GKE, IAM, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python (primary) and Go (secondary) for backend systems and scripting.
• Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Knowledge of secure deployment practices and IAM design principles.
• Experience integrating or serving LLMs or GenAI models in cloud environments is a strong plus.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments—ideally startup settings.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience deploying open-source LLM frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, vLLM, or Ollama.
• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, or GCP Monitoring.
• Familiarity with API gateway configuration, rate limiting, and security at the edge layer.
