Events Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of a wide range of events. In this dynamic role, you will assist with dayto-day logistics, on-site event coordination, and post-event follow-up. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning and organizing internal events such as meetings, tradeshows, weddings, birthdays and other social events. • Assist the Director of Events with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. • Distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and in a timely manner to relevant departments.
- Assist in billing reconciliation and process deposits related to events.
- Update and manage client leads and follow-ups using TripleSeat
- Handle incoming phone calls for the Events Department; return voicemails and direct
- Input and manage all confirmed events into the OpenTable reservations system.
- Assist with on-site event setup as outlined in the BEO, including signage, table setup, menu
- Perform additional assignments or tasks as needed to support the Events team
- This person will ideally also be trained as a front desk host to provide them with more hours
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
