TEACHING AT CASTILLEJA
At Castilleja we know that students thrive when learning happens within and beyond classroom walls and when students actively witness engagement in the greater community by the adults in their lives. Specifically, the English Department has a commitment to deep thinking, effective communication, and creative expression through a variety of media. English Teachers report to a Department Lead and Academic Leadership and work closely with each other and with grade-level colleagues. They typically teach at two grade levels and work with co-teachers.

Key Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience and/or commensurate professional experience
- Proficiency with technology in and out of the classroom
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study
Compensation and Benefits:
- Eligible for: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, EAP and Life
- Eligible for 403(b) Retirement plan with an outstanding employer match
- Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education and skill level. The salary will be based on a yearly one that ranges from $90,000 to $128,000
