TEACHING AT CASTILLEJA

Specifically, the English Department has a commitment to deep thinking, effective communication, and creative expression through a variety of media. English Teachers report to a Department Lead and Academic Leadership and work closely with each other and with grade-level colleagues. They typically teach at two grade levels and work with co-teachers.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience and/or commensurate professional experience
• Proficiency with technology in and out of the classroom
• Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study

Compensation and Benefits:

• Eligible for: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, EAP and Life
• Eligible for 403(b) Retirement plan with an outstanding employer match
• Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education and skill level. The salary will be based on a yearly one that ranges from $90,000 to $128,000
