Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, with 1 year in Cath Lab License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Diagnostic cardiac Cath lab experience - Cardiac stent placement experience - Experience circulating procedures - Experience with right and left heart catheterization Description: The registered nurse will provide care in the Cath Lab. The role requires 2 years of experience, including 1 year specifically in a Cath Lab. First-time travelers will not be considered for this position. The candidate must have experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures, cardiac stent placements, and catheterization. ACLS and BLS certifications are required for this position. On-call requirements include evenings and weekends. The position may involve working more frequent weekends based on unit needs. Staffing will include support from interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy. The patient demographic will include adults and geriatrics. The daily workflow may involve various cardiac procedures including heart catheterizations and peripheral vascular studies. Candidates must be willing to float between facilities as necessary. Refusal to float may affect job status. References are required from two professionals who can attest to the candidate's experience within the last three years.
