Steris Corporation
San Francisco, CA

At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.

As an Operating Room Integration (ORI) Sales Specialist at STERIS, you’ll play a critical role in delivering surgical suite integration and customer solutions across a broad Midwest territory. This is a remote, customer-facing role where you’ll lead ORI-specific initiatives, partner with regional Account Managers, and help hospitals design and implement state-of-the-art integrated OR environments.

  • Territory Planning: Develop and maintain a strategic plan to meet/exceed quarterly MBOs; adjust in partnership with your ORI Sales Leader.
  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Assist in product demonstrations and support Account Managers with solution positioning.
  • RFP Management: Lead the end-to-end RFP process — review, compile, submit, and ensure compliance with internal approval workflows.
  • Quote & Order Accuracy: Ensure all quotes, POs, and supporting documentation reflect exact customer requirements.
Customer Onboarding: Deliver customer training and in-servicing during and after installation; conduct follow-up walkthroughs and quality checks.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competing technologies and tactics; provide market insights to marketing, leadership, and the sales force.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with hospital IT, design, project management, and install teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Provide training to field sales on OR integration trends, technologies, and workflow impact.
