Speech Language Pathologist Assessor/Supervisor Part-time

Job Description
Description:
Join a practice where both children and therapists thrive. We promise every family the same effective, holistic, and caring therapy we'd choose for our own children - and we've built a culture where therapists can deliver that level of care while advancing meaningful careers. This commitment has helped us grow from 700 square feet to two thriving locations with a team of 70+ professionals providing 500+ weekly sessions across our Claremont and Rancho Cucamonga clinics.
Compensation & Earning Potential
Base Hourly Rate: $48 - $60 (based on pediatric experience)
Hours:
Flexible, Part-time
Professional Growth Investment:
- Leadership development and clinical ladder advancement opportunities
- Ongoing specialization training and workshops
Work-Life Balance:
- No weekend requirements
- Manageable caseload
- Supportive team environment with collaborative coverage
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping children reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions and activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide supervision and guidance to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in their delivery of therapy services.
- Develop and oversee treatment plans for SLPAs, ensuring they align with goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of receiving therapy services from SLPAs, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, paraprofessionals, and other professionals to support clients' overall development.
About Whole Child Therapy
Whole Child Therapy emerged from a vision shared by husband-and-wife occupational therapists Dennis and Ina Necesito, who recognized an opportunity to create something unique – a practice that truly sees and treats each child as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms.
Our Growth Story: Starting with just 700 square feet in Claremont in 2018, we've grown into a thriving practice with two locations, serving families through both outpatient clinics and school partnerships. Our commitment to holistic treatment and family-centered care has resonated throughout the community, leading to steady growth through five-star reviews and word-of-mouth referrals.
What Sets Us Apart:
- Whole-Child Approach: Our neurodiversity-affirming philosophy builds on each child's unique strengths and addresses their needs within their complete life context, not just isolated therapy goals
- Therapist-Owned & Operated: Led by clinicians who understand the profession and prioritize both exceptional client care and creating an environment where our team flourishes
- Collaborative Environment: Our multidisciplinary team works together, fostering a culture of support and shared expertise
- Dual Setting Options: Flexibility to work in our outpatient clinics or school-based settings
- Proven Track Record: 500+ weekly clinic sessions plus extensive school partnerships demonstrate our community impact and stability
- Our Services: We specialize in pediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, assistive technology, AAC services, and social skills programs, partnering with school districts, charter schools, and non-public schools throughout the region.
Join Our Mission
We're seeking passionate SLPAs who share our commitment to seeing each child as a whole person and believe that meaningful therapy requires effectiveness, genuine care, and holistic understanding. Ready to thrive with us? Apply today and become part of a practice where your professional growth matters as much as the children we serve together.
