Sales Coordinator

**Compensation:** $24 - $28.32 per hour **Overview**
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Coordinator! In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our sales and events managers, allowing them to focus on driving revenue and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and eager to contribute to our success. **Key Responsibilities** - **Customer Interaction:**
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls, including inquiries from customers and brand call centers.
- Process incoming leads and handle reservation requests.
- Assist group, catering, and business travel customers through various communication channels (in-person, email, phone). - **Group Management:**
- Maintain communication with group customers regarding their room block status, including entering rooming lists and monitoring pick-up status.
- Provide updates on current pick-up, cutoff dates, and make individual reservation changes as needed. - **Sales Support:**
- Assist property managers with sales-related tasks, including billing inquiries, commission payments, and appointment scheduling.
- Help with RFP responses, proposals, contracts, and meeting arrangements. - **Administrative Duties:**
- Upload and maintain group files within the sales system, ensuring all agreements are properly documented.
- Create and manage printed and electronic marketing materials.
- Maintain social media accounts with regular postings and engagement. - **Team Collaboration:**
- Participate in Sales Department meetings and provide additional administrative support as directed. **Qualifications** - **Experience:**
- Minimum of 1 year in customer service or clerical roles.
- Preferred experience in a hotel sales office, especially in a fast-paced environment. - **Education:**
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. - **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with sales systems (e.g., Delphi.fdc, CI/TY) and property management systems (e.g., OnQ, Opera) is a plus. - **Travel Requirements:**
- Less than 5% travel may be required. - **Physical Requirements:**
