We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

* Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
* Advises immediate management on project-level issues
* Guides junior engineers
* Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
* Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Expected Qualifications:

* 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

At PayPal, Full Stack Software Engineers are the architects of our global payment platform. You'll design, develop, and optimize core systems powering millions of transactions daily, delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.

Your day-to-day:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

* Architect and implement large-scale Full Stack solutions.
* Mentor and develop engineering talent.
* Drive technical excellence and best practices.

What you need to bring:

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
* 5+ years of Full Stack development experience.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
* Experience in building large-scale applications
* Exposure to SQL and NoSQL technologies
* Good understanding of relational databases, including strong data architecture and SQL/PL-SQL development skills
* Strong experience with microservices architecture.
* Experience applying software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with GraphQL or similar API technologies.
* Contributions to open-source projects.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
