Leadership - Respiratory
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Director Respiratory Therapy
Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 8a-5p, Mon-Fri, 8x5, 40hrs per week Varies as department needs
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA RT License (must be attached to resume)
- NBRC RRT certification (must be attached to submission)
- 5 years recent Director of Respiratory Therapy experience in an LTAC or Acute Care facility setting
- Intubation skills
- Experience with Cough Assist and IPV
- Experience with Hamilton and Vela Ventilators
- ABG Lab experience
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Other Details:
- Under limited supervision, directs the hospital's Respiratory Therapy Services
- Plans, directs, and monitors clinical and technical operations, functions, and resources of the Respiratory Therapy Department
- Assures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Coordinates, monitors, and maintains Key Performance Indicators, performance improvement activities, and National Quality Plan measures/targets
- Participates in hospital CQI initiatives
