Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Logistics or related field

Top Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and Basic Macros are essential)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
• Exposure to ERP systems or Logistics/TMS/WMS software

Job Description:

The Logistics Financial Analyst provides analytical and operational support to Supply Chain Planning and Warehousing/Transportation Operations Department. This position focuses on monitoring logistics spend, analyzing multiple KPIs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Under the guidance of management, the analyst will ensure financial data accuracy and help optimize logistics cost through data-driven insights.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly logistics expense reports, focusing on freight and warehouse costs.
• Assists in preparation of annual logistics budgets and periodic financial forecast
• Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identifying trends, and monitor variance that would have impact on the logistics cost.
• Performs variance analysis to explain differences between actual logistics spend to forecasted amount, previous year same period, etc.

Modeling & Strategy:

• Maintains and updates financial models used for logistics cost forecasting and simulation

Data Management:

• Extract and organize data from ERP Systems and TMS/WMS
• Ensure the integrity of logistics financial data for use in executive-level reporting

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Logistics or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and Basic Macros are essential)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
• Exposure to ERP systems or Logistics/TMS/WMS software
• Problem Solving/Analysis
