The Role:
A Field Service Representative serves as a technical and administrative representative for on-site and remote support customer equipment. In this role a Field Service Representative will complete customer service assignments including on-site and remote maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities on EPC Power conversion systems.
Responsibilities:
? Provide maintenance, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair services while working independently or in a dynamic team environment both on customer sites and remotely.
? Accurately and effectively communicate with customer representatives
? Work in a productive and collaborative manner to support the engineering team
? Provide support of the Production Test Stand or Manufacturing as needed
? Ensure all work complies with customer and EPC Power safety policies and procedures. Ensures on-site safety by attending general safety, toolbox safety meetings, and all required safety trainings. Provides suggestions for safety improvements.
? Travel 25%-75%
? Other duties and responsibilities within the scope of position as needed or assigned
Requirements:? High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
? 1+ years' experience as an electrician's apprentice, manufacturing technician, assembler, or other comparable position
? Working knowledge and mechanical skill set including the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
? Willing to travel domestically up to 75% of the time (typically 25%)
? Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
? Ability to work well within a team and clearly communicate technical progress and challenges
Desired Skills:
? Associate's degree in Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent experience
? 3+ years' experience as an electrician's apprentice, manufacturing technician, assembler, or other comparable position
? Experience testing/commissioning high power systems
? Experience with typical commercial and industrial electrical power (480Vac, 3p)
? Interested in power electronics
