Construction Project Coordinator

About the Role

Grover Landscape Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our construction team as a Project Coordinator. This is a position designed for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in commercial construction and project management.

You will work directly under a Senior Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the execution of commercial landscape construction projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

Working alongside a Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Assist in managing commercial landscape construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and requirements

• Support project setup including submittals, RFIs, and document control

• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal crews

• Track project costs, quantities, and production to support job cost control

• Assist with scheduling, procurement, and material tracking

• Participate in project meetings and job site visits

• Help identify and resolve issues that arise during construction

• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation

• Create project-related documents such as Excel spreadsheets, irrigation color charts, and redlined PDF plans.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to learn quickly and take direction from experienced leaders

• Strong communication skills and professionalism

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Plangrid and other construction software.

• Internship or exposure to construction, estimating, or project coordination

• Basic understanding of construction drawings and project lifecycle

• Interest in commercial landscape or site development work
