CT Surgery - Murrieta
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team at our Murrieta location.
This opportunity includes 1st or 2nd assistant for all cardiac surgical procedures (both adult and pediatric), wound closures, suturing, balloon and chest tube insertion/removal and management.
1+ years of experience required. Experience with harvesting saphenous vein grafts, harvesting radial arteries, and endoscopic vein harvesting is required.
Specific Job Duties
- Regular work hours are Monday through Friday
- Weekend call will be a minimum of one weekend per month
- Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C)
- Must maintain BLS and ACLS certification
- Must be licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board
- Will be a part of quality assurance conferences
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $150,000 - $240,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
