IT Support Specialist
- Provide Tier 1- Tier 3 support for hardware and software related issues - resolve basic problems related to Windows/macOS applications and systems.
- Manage access permissions company wide.
- Manage and maintain in-house server room.
- Clearly document issues that need to be escalated to the next tier of support.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems that may arise for in-house team members and remote team members.
- Configure/upgrade workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Help nontechnical team members by relaying IT best practices and helping to provide security awareness.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
- Strong foundation and understanding of IT concepts.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot for remote users as well as in-house team members.
- System knowledge:
- Windows/Mac.
- Microsoft 365 and Google products.
- Knowledge of network concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and accurately document process.
- Certifications (Network+, A+, Security+ etc.).
- Degree in the IT field.
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira etc.).
