Job Summary

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the household’s cleanliness, organization, and upkeep. Primary duties include laundry, ironing, and other general housekeeping tasks to ensure the home remains clean, organized, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and respectful of the household's privacy and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing, linens, and household fabrics.

•Iron garments and linens on Tuesdays, ensuring professional appearance and care for delicate fabrics.

•Conduct general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and wiping surfaces.

•Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and other household spaces.

•Change bed linens and make beds according to household preferences.

•Organize household items, closets, and storage areas.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education Include:

•Previous professional housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience preferred.

•Strong knowledge of laundry care, including delicate fabrics and proper ironing techniques.

•Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

•Physically able to perform housekeeping duties, including lifting laundry baskets and standing for extended periods.

Physical Requirements Include:

•Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and carry loads (up to 25 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.

•Manual dexterity required for operating household cleaning tools and ironing equipment.

•Ability to work with cleaning agents safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.

Hours and Days:

Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
