About the Position...

The Loan Service Specialist II is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.

The Loan Service Specialist II is responsible for following all Bank/department policies and procedures, as well as processing escrow payments and related tracking, loan payments (advances and pay downs), follow up on loan documentation, loan boarding, processing letter of credit transactions, monitoring interest reserves, monitoring ticklers system, monitoring loan participations, report balancing, loan billing, interest rate changes, and tracking of insurance for renewals and flood notices. The Loan Service Specialist II is also responsible for answering client calls and requests promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally. The Loan Service Specialist II will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting the Loan Service Supervisor and the Loan Service Manager with additional assignments and/or projects as needed. This position will perform all other duties as assigned.

About You... You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:

Education/Certification: High school graduate, college degree preferred.

Required Knowledge: General knowledge or understanding of lending process, documents, terminology, regulations and standard banking practices.

Experience Required: Two or more years in Loan Operations or Loan Servicing industry.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong in Microsoft Office software package.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer, adding machine, copy machine, fax machine, and telephone.
