We are a Los Angeles based restaurant concept seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Our kitchen is rooted in Middle Eastern flavors, blending tradition with modern refinement. We are building a team that values creativity, discipline, and genuine hospitality.

What You'll Do

The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensures that all food production meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead kitchen staff during service, providing strong, hands-on leadership
  
• Maintain high standards of food quality, flavor balance, and plating execution
  
• Train and mentor kitchen team members on techniques specific to Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine
  
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, and inventory management
  
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety compliance
  
• Oversee prep, line setup, and service execution to maintain efficiency
  
• Assist in recipe development and maintain organized recipe documentation
  
• Monitor food costs and support inventory control efforts
  
• Create a positive, focused kitchen environment built on professionalism and teamwork
  
• Embody and deliver exceptional hospitality standards
  

What We Are Looking For

• 2-5+ years of experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  
• Strong familiarity with Persian and/or Middle Eastern cuisine required
  
• Deep understanding of spices, traditional techniques, and regional flavor profiles
  
• Ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
• Valid Food Handler certification
  
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
