Software Engineer IV
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement core data collection tooling components
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Maintain, analyze, and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system infrastructure
- Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding
- Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity
Skills:
- Proficient with Python or C/C++
- Experience with Linux command-line tools and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking protocols.
- Strong skills in writing and debugging bash scripts for automation tasks, such as log collection, system monitoring, and routine maintenance.
Education/Experience:
- Proficiency in Python or C++, and experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing user facing applications.
- Experience with Linux command-line tools and shell scripting.
- Experience with Network Configuration and Troubleshooting, including tools like iwconfig, ifconfig, netstat, and tcpdump.
- Knowledge of Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for device communication and control.
- Experience with debugging tools for diagnosing and resolving issues within the Linux operating system and networking layers
