Our client, Replo , is building the "world's sell anything platform," enabling entrepreneurs and marketing teams to instantly build, test, and grow online businesses and campaigns. Think of them as the GTM (Go-to-Market) platform for entrepreneurs, with customers including major brands (like Tums). The company has raised over $8.4 million from investors like Figma, YCombinator, and Vercel , and has achieved Series A/B metrics on a seed-stage cap table.

They are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to take on key technical ownership, focusing on the system architecture behind their most popular, high-scale products. This role requires deep expertise in distributed systems and a passion for engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Things You'll Be Working On

• System Architecture: Architecting and implementing critical backend systems primarily in TypeScript/Node .
• High-Scale Data Pipelines: Designing and building the ingestion pipeline for their analytics/insights products, ensuring $>$99.99% uptime (utilizing Kafka, ClickHouse, and Redis ).
• Ecommerce Infrastructure: Building out durable and distributed cart/hosting solutions for their core commerce product.
• Modern Deployment: Deploying a multi-tenant NextJS application for shops in Cloudflare .
• Stability & Best Practices: Spiking on CI/CD to improve stability and mentoring junior engineers on engineering best practices.

• 4+ years of experience with production distributed systems and service-oriented architecture (SOA) .
• Proficiency in backend development; comfort with TypeScript/Node is ideal, but they are open to engineers willing to learn the language quickly.
• Deep understanding of highly available, observable systems (Sentry, Grafana, etc.).
• Must be based in the Bay Area and work in-person 3 days/week from the San Francisco office.

• Salary: $200K - $300K
• Equity: Generous equity package (issued as a seed-stage company with strong growth metrics).
