Regional Office Receptionist (Temporary)

ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION
This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to go from November through the new year. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.
The role is based in our Merced office onsite Monday-Friday
Bilingual Spanish/English is required to be successful in this role
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position:
- Performs highly visible greeting and communication functions for employees, members, providers and visitors
- Performs mailing, shipping and receiving activities
- Provides administrative and clerical support
- Maintains reception visitor log, internal call routing list, visitor log, shipping and receiving log, and conference room calendar
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of:
- general administrative procedures and standard business office practices and equipment
- principles and practices of customer service
- principles and practices of facilities maintenance
- Ability to:
- exercise tact and diplomacy and demonstrate strong customer service skills
- respond to callers and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
- produce organized, accurate and detail oriented work and maintain accurate records, files and documentation
- Education and Experience:
- High school graduation and a minimum of two years of experience performing administrative support and coordination activities which included some facilities maintenance coordination responsibilities (an Associate's degree may substitute for one year of the required experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
- Experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
OTHER DETAILS
- While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in hybrid remote/in-office work environment right now and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely.
- Our Alliance office locations have officially re-opened as of May 2, 2022 and while some employees may work in full-time telecommute schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
- Based on the nature of work, this position may require onsite presence, which is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process

The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).
Merced pay range
$17.85$20 USDAdditionally, all positions at the Alliance are required to meet these minimum qualifications.
