Weekend Nanny - Del Mar, CA (AD)
A lovely family in Del Mar is seeking an experienced Weekend Nanny to provide attentive childcare and flexible household support for their four children, ages 1, 4, 7, and 9 .
The children are always the top priority. However, because both parents are highly involved and enjoy spending quality time with their children, there are often opportunities to assist with light household tasks that help keep the home running efficiently throughout the weekend.
The household operates with an excellent team during the week, so the ideal candidate enjoys stepping in wherever needed to ensure weekends are equally organized and enjoyable for the family.
This part-time, live-out position is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with parents and household staff while helping ensure weekends run smoothly.
This is not a traditional sole-charge nanny position. The family is seeking a true Mother's Helper —someone who enjoys engaging with children while also lending an extra set of hands with light household responsibilities when the parents are spending one-on-one time with the children.
Schedule & Hours
Part-time position
Saturdays and Sundays
Approximately 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Alternative weekend work schedule
“An alternative workweek schedule (AWS)is any setup where nonexempt employees work a fixed arrangement other than the traditional 5-day, 40-hour week. It typically allows employees to work longer daily shifts (like 10 hours a day) in exchange for fewer working days per week or extended days off, without triggering daily overtime.” (provided by client)
