Experienced Client Service Representative

: Berkeley Animal Hospital opened in June 2023 and we are growing quickly. We are seeking a CSR with experience in general practice care. We are a newly constructed and privately owned clinic in Berkeley. About You:

• Uphold ethics and promote a culture that is positive and thoughtful.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Passionate about veterinary medicine and animal well-being.
• Ability to give feedback to management and not partake in workplace gossip.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients, clients, and coworkers.
• Interested in learning more about Fear Free Techniques or bringing your Fear Free skills to our practice?

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet clients and pets and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails.
• Schedule appointments.
• Check clients and pets in and out. Handle payments.
• Maintain proper documentation of client conversations as required by law.
• Comfortable using multiple digital platforms (i.e.: Windows, Gmail, and Google Drive). Our software is Neo, a cloud platform, and we will train you if you have not used this program before.
• Provide basic information and advice to clients regarding veterinary services and products.
• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
• Dental experience preferred
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
• Ability to monitor and record dogs and cats proficiently under Anesthesia.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a CSR in a veterinary hospital.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work some weekends.
