Project Manager - Tax Transformation
- Develop detailed project plans, charters, and schedules aligned with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate resource allocation, milestone setting, and dependencies across workstreams.
- Ensure projects adhere to PMO standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Serve as the central point of contact among internal business partners, IT leadership, and external technology vendors.
- Facilitate comprehensive status meetings, issue/risk discussions, and stakeholder updates.
- Translate high-level requirements into actionable project deliverables.
- Oversee day-to-day execution, including timeline management, task tracking, and reporting.
- Lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor critical project metrics-such as delivery milestones, budget adherence, and resource utilization-and escalate risks/issues as needed.
- Ensure robust project tracking and reporting, preparing executive summaries, dashboards, and updates for leadership.
- Support compliance with IT governance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audit readiness and organizational transparency.
- Collaborating with business leads to delivering training, onboarding, and communications for new technologies or processes.
- Guide teams through transitions and support user adoption for project outcomes.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years' project management experience, ideally with large-scale IT initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in PMO methodology, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution.
- Proven hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cybersecurity.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

- CBAP® - Certified Business Analysis Professional
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC)

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- ITIL Certification
- Microsoft Azure
- Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience within the tax, finance, or professional services sectors.
- Proven track record of supporting or leading technology or transformation projects.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting tax technology (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Effective communicator and facilitator with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as cloud, data analytics, or cybersecurity.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
