Remote | 6–8 Month Contract | NetSuite Experience Required A growing and innovative organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance team during a period of growth and operational enhancement. This is a fully remote contract opportunity expected to last 6–8 months , with the potential for extension based on business needs. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and has strong experience working within NetSuite . The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting the broader accounting function. Responsibilities Perform key duties related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain general ledger accuracy and support compliance with GAAP Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting Support external audits and respond to audit requests Help improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments on cross-functional initiatives Assist with system enhancements, reporting improvements, and data integrity within NetSuite Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close procedures Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP required Experience in a high-growth or rapidly changing environment preferred Strong knowledge of reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience Multi-entity and intercompany accounting Audit support and external audit coordination Process improvement and system optimization projects Public accounting experience and/or CPA designation Why Consider This Opportunity?
