Territory Analyst & Support- Residential Programs
The Territory Analyst is a highly analytical role responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing performance across Cydcor’s Residential Programs. This individual serves as the primary resource for territory-level reporting, trend analysis, forecasting, and operational insights that support leadership decision-making. In addition, the Territory Analyst will work with our sales team helping trouble shooting when needed.
The ideal candidate combines advanced Excel expertise with a strong understanding of AI-powered tools and data analysis techniques. They will transform large datasets into actionable recommendations, identify opportunities for growth, and help drive operational excellence across residential sales territories.
This role requires someone who is naturally curious, solution oriented, great communicator, detail-oriented, and comfortable leveraging emerging technologies, automation tools, and business intelligence platforms to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Territory Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyze territory, office, and representative performance across key residential program metrics.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps through ongoing analysis of sales, retention, quality, and customer experience data.
- Build territory scorecards and dashboards that provide visibility into key business drivers.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews to leadership teams.
- Develop forecasting models to predict territory performance and identify emerging risks.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Own the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting tools used across Residential Programs.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions including:
- Pivot Tables
- Power Query
- Power Pivot
- XLOOKUP
- INDEX/MATCH
- Dynamic Arrays
- Advanced Formulas
- Automate recurring reports and data workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across multiple reporting sources.
AI & Process Optimization
- Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to streamline reporting, identify trends, and improve decision-making processes.
- Research and implement new AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity and analytical capabilities.
- Partner with leadership to develop AI-assisted forecasting and performance monitoring strategies.
- Create scalable reporting systems that reduce manual effort and increase analytical depth.
Residential Program Strategy Support
- Partner with Residential Operations leadership to evaluate market performance and recommend strategic initiatives.
- Conduct territory deep-dives to uncover root causes of performance challenges.
- Support expansion planning through market analysis and opportunity assessments.
- Assist in territory alignment, market prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Campaign Team, Operations, Recruiting, Training, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
- Present analytical insights to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives related to residential growth.
- Manage and create datasets and tool enhancements to optimize efficiency and user experience.
- Inspect ingestion of leads and validate lead hygiene.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 1–5+ years of experience in business analytics, sales analytics, operations analysis, or related analytical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
- Experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting direct sales, telecommunications, residential sales, or outsourced sales organizations.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, QuickSights, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or other AI-powered productivity platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL, database management, or data visualization tools.
- Experience building automated reporting solutions and workflow automations.
- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and performance modeling.
- Experience analyzing large-scale sales performance datasets.
