General Summary:

Provides support by planning, creating, managing, and optimizing supply planning processes and operations to facilitate completion of goals and objectives in an efficient and effective way. Identifies and pursues opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiencies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains inventory planning models by consolidating and analyzing complex data from various systems and tools
• Generates and Implements inventory optimization and safety stock models
• Works with functional planning, business and IT teams to drive supply chain solutions leveraging analytics
• Leads Machine Learning / AI application development for Inventory and Order Commit Process
• Leads creation of Wafer Start Reporting and Analytics
• Identifies and addresses gaps and opportunities for improvements in automation or implementation of processes, designs, and operations to ensure current and future needs and requirements are effectively met
• Defines scope for multiple projects or large, complex projects that optimize efficiencies in business processes and/or the production of products or services based on production, facility, and/or staff needs; guides team to do the same
• Leads implementation of multiple and/or large-scale solutions to optimize efficient and high-quality production/process elements and outputs (e.g., process flow, capacity, materials)
• Manages data/information collection and analyses to identify technical or operational issues and leads team to resolve issues
• Leverages mathematical and computer modeling and information technology to make informed decisions for multiple and/or large or complex projects, processes, and operations
• Conducts research, analyzes data, and implements solutions to identify and mitigate risks; advises team on how to manage risks and shares risks with leadership.
• Drive the management of multiple internal customer and supplier relationships; guides team members to do the same.

Level of Responsibility:

• Key member of Supply Chain plans for Advanced Analytics
• Requires deep supply chain domain expertise mainly in supply planning and inventory planning
• Requires proficiency in data and analytics techniques to productively communicate with technical resources.
• Ability to effectively facilitate productive communications and discussions between business users and leaders and technical roles
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage and update supply chain leadership and propose continuous improvement opportunities
• Analyst with experience working with the supply chain users to leverage analytics insights in decision making
• Supply chain operational role with experience in the roll-out of and training on supply chain applications
• Works independently with little supervision
• Manages projects and indirect resources to deliver the projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• 6+ years of industrial engineering work experience in a semiconductor, assembly, and/or testing company.
• 2+ year of work experience in supply chains using advanced planning tools
• 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)

Pay range:

$131,000.00 - $197,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
