Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
Location: Vacaville, CA

Position Details

• Specialty: Maternal Child Health (MCH) – RN
• Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts | 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and emergency situations
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Support physicians and midwives during deliveries
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last 3 years)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license (state where care is provided)
• Current certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
