Team Lead II
Position Summary:
The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations and supporting team members to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role focuses on training, coaching, and developing employees while maintaining efficient workflow and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities and provide leadership to staff, including training, evaluation, coaching, and development of employees
- Monitor staffing levels, assist with scheduling, and communicate any employee absences or attendance concerns to the leadership team
- Troubleshoot operational issues, implement solutions, and document and communicate updates to leadership
- Ensure all safety practices are followed and proactively identify and eliminate workplace hazards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas to meet QA and USDA inspection standards
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, vendors, and internal customers by answering questions related to department processes, procedures, and services
Shift:
Monday- Friday
1am-9:30am
Requirements
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above
the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is
required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth
perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts,
toxic or caustic chemicals nd fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office
levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
