Turning Space into a Transportation Layer for Earth

Who We Are :

Eras of humanity can often be defined by a dominant transportation mode - horse drawn chariots, ocean going boats, or aircraft. These were spurred by a small group of people rigorously focused on building technology to achieve faster access to more of the world. We seek to usher in a new era of humanity defined by universal access to the whole globe free of borders and the presence of a routine way from space to Earth. To do this, we are building highly maneuverable re-entry vehicles that can loiter in orbit before precision landing back on Earth.

You will own key internal software development workflows and assist with the development and deployment of internal tools and critical services. Your impact will also include the selection, definition, creation, configuration, administration, and training of the DevOps processes involving multiple teams. The result of this essential flow will be the demonstration of flight software applications: executing on the world’s first reentry vehicle designed for turning space into a transportation layer for Earth. You will be a key member of the Processing Core team , reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, Processing Core .

  • 3-8 years of professional DevOps experience with specialization around build tools and automating engineering workflows

  • Knowledge of Agile principles including planning/backlog tools (e.g., JIRA)

  • Direct experience standing up new CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Gitlab, Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.

  • An innovative and optimistic approach to your work in a dynamic and uncertain environment!
