About the Role
As the Recruiting Manager for our B2B business lines, you will lead a team of recruiters responsible for driving hiring across Forward Deployed Engineering, Gov, and Partnership roles in North America. You will play a critical role in ensuring OpenAI attracts, assesses, and hires top-tier talent to drive our growth and impact across regions. This role reports to our Global Head of G&A and GTM Recruiting.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

  • Collaborate with leaders, HR Business Partners, and senior leadership to align hiring strategies with organizational priorities globally.

  • Implement and optimize scalable recruiting processes to achieve quarterly and annual hiring targets.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the recruitment process to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

  • Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and demonstrate hiring effectiveness.

  • Manage a limited number of high-impact requisitions, focusing on strategic B2B leadership hires.

How to Be Successful in This Role

  • 8+ years of business recruiting experience with at least 3+ years in a people management role.

  • Proven experience in both startup and large-scale environments.

  • Expertise in global GTM recruiting, with experience across multiple regions.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics to improve recruiting strategies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
