Aescape is looking for a Pioneering Senior/Staff Android Software Engineer who can develop the cutting-edge Android app that will be the future of massage therapy and leverage their deep understanding of the latest Android technologies to drive innovation and unparalleled user experiences. You'll be crafting the very tool that empowers users to receive massage therapy, collaborating cross functionally with our Product and Design teams as we revolutionize how people access and experience massage therapy. This role is hybrid and can be based in SF or NY HQ.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior/Staff Android Software Engineer at Aescape you will:

• Lead the development of new user-facing features in the massage experience.

• Implement complex user interface components and features on our custom Android platform.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and planning.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new feature concepts.

• Establish and redefine best practices in software development to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in building effective user interfaces and scalable UI components.

• Experience with modern Android development technologies such as Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Experience managing a small team of software engineers.

• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
