SCCM & End Point Administrator
Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the IT Manager I, the IT Specialist I provides architectural, engineering, operational, and project management support for the Agency’s Information Technology End Point Management. The incumbent is also responsible for leading projects to deploy new software and upgrade existing software using Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune and providing System Administration support to the IT Environment.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune
- Experience with Windows 11 Desktop system administration and patching
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues
- Experience with Custom Off the Shelft (COTS) applications
- Experience using tools

Working Conditions
Hybrids telework schedules are available. The amount of telework is at CalHFA's discretion . IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE WILL BE REQUIRED WEEKLY.
CalHFA is a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). It is a block from Downtown Commons (DOCO), the Golden 1 Center, many restaurants and shopping. CalHFA employees also have access to an on-site ATM and gym located in the building. Candidates who are new to state service will be placed at the minimum of the salary range.Visa Sponsorship: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employers in the U.S. CalHFA is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

- BE LIST ELIGIBLE: Pass the State civil service examination for the Information Technology Specialist I classification
OR
- BE TRANSFER ELIGIBLE: Have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable (employees who wish to be considered based on transfer eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification per DPA Rule 250)
- BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE: Previously obtained permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years as an Information Technology Associate; or
Four years of general information technology experience performing technical and/or analytical tasks for computer systems or services in any of the six domains or emerging information technology fields; or
120 semester units (or 180 quarter units) from an accredited college or university including at least 15 semester units (or 22.5 quarter units) of information technology or closely related course work; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and education.
When using education to meet minimum qualifications, education must include the specified IT or closely related course work.
