OH LA LA is a vibrant, French Riviera-inspired restaurant, bakery, and café offering a unique dining experience. OH LA LA features a strong specialty coffee program and a growing selection of French wines and low-ABV cocktails. We’re currently looking to add a new barista to our team—someone who’s passionate about coffee and curious about beverage culture beyond espresso.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Barista with a love for specialty coffee, hospitality, and a desire to keep learning. This position is for afternoon shifts , and includes opportunities to engage with our wine and low-ABV cocktail program in addition to preparing outstanding coffee. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other specialty beverages
• Provide excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment with skill and care
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including equipment and bar supplies
• Learn and apply knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and beverage techniques
• Support beverage program execution, including wine and low-ABV cocktails (training provided)
• Help with inventory and restocking as needed
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

• Passion for culinary craft and service
• Avid coffee drinker with curiosity about other beverages
• Experience operating and cleaning espresso machines
• Skill in steaming milk to consistent microfoam and basic latte art
• Willingness to learn about coffee, wine, and low-ABV cocktail techniques
• Friendly, guest-first attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to stay focused and detailed in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Collaborative, team-focused mindset
