What will you do? Oversee the operation of all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, services, and equipment Perform carpentry, painting, and track operations Ensure tools and equipment are in working order, and keep the maintenance room in neat condition Conduct inventories and complete paperwork, work orders, and logs Participate in fire prevention and other life safety programs and report accidents, injuries, and property damage to the supervisor More about you Must be at least 18 years old Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position Experience with machinery, metalworking, landscaping, and locksmith duties Must have a general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades Must possess a valid driver’s license No college degree required Physical requirements Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders to perform repairs Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons Shift details Days Evenings On call Split shift Holidays M-F Weekends OT as needed Who we are Kings Canyon National Park offers some of the most spectacular hiking, backpacking, and photographic opportunities in the United States.
