Sr. Product Manager - Tech , Device Operations Technology & Software (DOTS)

Key job responsibilitiesAs a Sr. Product Manager - Technical you lead the building products and services in a growing and dynamic space. Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions, and advocate for products across the organization. We work to develop software products that facilitate the planning, production, distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices, guiding leaders and partners on strategy and prioritization. - Lead the development of the consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on customer learnings, team strategy and vision
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and software architecture, based on knowledge of customers, devices business and supply chain processes.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Partner with engineering teams and program management to deliver products
- Drive product launches including working with stakeholders and executives
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals A day in the life

Device Operations Technology and Software (DOTS) is a multi-disciplinary team of Product Managers, Program Managers, Data Engineers, Applied and Research Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers, User Experience Researchers and Designers. We take an end-to-end perspective of the software needs of Device Operations, and ensure that solutions address the needs of the entire organization, and solve both the challenges of today and tomorrow.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
