Bookkeeper

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This full-time, on-site position in Paso Robles provides an opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of "Building Partnerships and Creating Choices" for those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including management of general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, cash, sales, and payroll accounts.
• Review contracts, process monthly billing, and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and process Social Security reports and sales tax returns on a monthly basis.
• Assist supervisors with processing and managing employee timecards.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ongoing proof of auto insurance (driving is required for this position).
• Ability to pass required background checks as mandated by state and federal regulations.

Compensation

$25 per hour, depending on experience.
