General Summary
The RFMS Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification and characterization of highly integrated RF transceiver ASICs, Baseband Data converters and Timing circuits designed by QCT. Job responsibilities for this position include test software development, design and debug of test interface hardware, test methodology development and implementation, test equipment automation, and test solution verification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related fields.
- >9-year experience in test validation, test automation, RF/ Mixed Signal testing.
- Experience in key RFMS measurements (i.e Gain, Noise, IP3, Jitter, Signal to Noise, Phase Noise, etc.)
- Understanding of basic RFMS test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal source analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Experience with developing/modifying Visual Basic, C++, C#, Java, Python, LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
- Knowledge in RF/Mixed signal PCB design basics.
- Understands board design, debug, and development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in RF/Mixed Signal test methodology development and implementation using different programming languages and test platforms.
- Strong understanding of RF/Mixed Signal Measurement science.
- Solid understanding of the measurements necessary to characterize an RF/ SoC device through theoretical and practical applications.
- Statistical data analysis: Ability to design experiments to remove bias, extrapolate sample data to predict population behavior and prior experience using tools for data analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :
$134,800.00 - $202,200.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
