Restaurant Server

POSITION: SERVERDEPARTMENT: RESTAURANT
REPORTS TO: FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and qualify for a gaming license
- Good people skills, customer driven, sense customer needs, promote positive dining experience
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours
- Good coordination; be able to bend, kneel and have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have prior experience as a Food Server/Waiter/Waitress
- Responsible for greeting and serving customers in a timely, courteous and professional manner
- Inform customers of specials, making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverages and service
- Solicit food and beverage orders from customers and relay orders to culinary and beverage staff
- Communicate with culinary and beverage staff and coordinate the entire station to ensure customer satisfaction
- Serve courses promptly while ensuring the proper presentation
- Monitor diners to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and accommodate any additional requests
- Total guest check, refer customers to the cashier, or process payment for the customer
- Assist with stocking workstation, removing soiled dishes and resetting tables
- All duties as assigned
