- Provide intensive case management services to registered customers within the One-Stop system
- Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program. Assess jobseekers' employment and training needs and abilities through interviewing, testing and other methods
- Enter data into and otherwise use and process clients through the Career Edge data systems
- Assist all clients to complete career assessments and to develop a comprehensive Individual Employment Plan (IEP)
- Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services;
- Complete Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers, and other documents required for clients entering training
- Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs or job opportunities and follow-up on those activities
- Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs and other group presentations for clients
- Follow all policies, procedures and regulations related to eligibility documentation to ensure that case files have originals and/or copies of required documents for service delivery.
- Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer assuring that each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements
- Provide referral and tracking of eligible customers into contracted programs provided on-site at the One-Stop centers and/or located in the community in accordance with established contracts
- Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks. Participate in all staff related events as required including but not limited to: training, staff meetings and individual supervision
- Complete all required reports
- Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
- Other duties and projects as needed
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Working knowledge of WIOA
- 2+ years of work experience combining elements of training, counseling, case management, or other services
- 2+ years of case management experience and the ability to read and interpret policies and procedures
- 2+ years of experience with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
- 2+ years of demonstrated ability working in a dynamic team environment with an aptitude for communication, interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with others, show courteousness, and having a high level of professionalism
- Experience in recruiting or marketing services
- Experience and knowledge of workforce and/or government contracts/programs
- A demonstrated ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally-diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive
- A demonstrated ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goals
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A Valid Driver's License

- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations; (2) Recruit and evaluate job applicants and candidates for employment; (3) Conduct background checks; (4) Manage your employment relationship with us, including for: (a) onboarding processes; (b) timekeeping, payroll, and expense report administration; (c) employee benefits administration; (d) employee training and development requirements; (d) the creation, maintenance, and security of your online employee accounts; (e) reaching your emergency contacts when needed, such as when you are not reachable or are injured or ill; (f) workers' compensation claims management; (g) employee job performance, including goals and performance reviews, promotions, discipline, and termination; and (h) other human resources purposes; (5) Manage and monitor employee access to company facilities, equipment, and systems; (6) Conduct internal audits and workplace investigations; (7) Investigate and enforce compliance with and potential breaches of Company policies and procedures; (8) Engage in corporate transactions requiring review of employee records, such as for evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions of the Company; (9) Maintain commercial insurance policies and coverages, including for workers' compensation and other liability insurance; (10) Perform workforce analytics, data analytics, and benchmarking; (11) Administer and maintain the Company's operations, including for safety purposes; (12) For client marketing purposes; (13) Exercise or defend the legal rights of the Company and its employees, and affiliates, customers, contractors, and agents; and (14) to comply with requirements of government grants, including, but not limited to, program and audit requirements.
