About the Role

Outdoorsy Yosemite is seeking a hospitality focused Seasonal Cleaning Associate. The Cleaning Associate will play a key role in creating a pristine first impression to all guests that enter any and all interior spaces through routine cleaning and maintenance. After a long day of adventuring in nature, our guests deserve relaxation in thoroughly cleaned and nurtured spaces

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms as assigned according to the highest standards of cleanliness (i.e. mopping, dusting, windows, making beds, removing trash, bathrooms, and kitchens)
• Ability to lift 10-20 pounds and be on their feet for 8 hours a day
• Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies, equipment on hand, and room amenities
• Restock guest amenities and supplies
• Communicates effectively; Informs Guest Experience Hosts on status of room cleanliness/completion
• Assist guests with questions and requests with the highest level of attention and customer service
• Ability to work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, and holidays)
• Ensure the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping
• Able to adhere to strict cleaning guidelines and policies
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business demands
• Ability to lift 15-25 pounds
• Able to be on their feet for 8 hours a day
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Preferred:

• Hotel or Resort cleaning experience
• New build/opening team experience
• Passion for the outdoors

Benefits

Wages:

$16.00/hr-$18.00/hr

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with potentially applicable laws. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and bonus dependent upon position.
