- Travel assignment in a hospital setting Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging for heart muscle and function (echocardiography)
- Create images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess function and support diagnoses
- Operate echo equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with cardiologists, execute the technical aspects of examinations, and report findings
- Document procedures, manage patient records, and participate in quality control and infection control practices
- Communicate imaging results clearly to the cardiology team and assist with follow-up as needed Requirements
- Active Cardiovascular Technologist credential or equivalent as required by the employer
- Experience or training in echocardiography (Echo imaging)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and follow established protocols
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cardiology staff
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts on a travel assignment
