Global Events Specialist
- Work closely with the Global Events Manager to craft strategy and delivery for in-person and virtual events that serve Global Marketing business objectives.
- Coordinate all Global Marketing focused event logistics such as registration, attendee tracking, communications, travel plans, transportation, catering, team building activities, ride days, hotel room block management and internal staff scheduling.
- Own all event project management while working cross functionally with internal teams to create work-back timelines, assign tasks and set deliverable due dates.
- Support events with product ordering, NDA management, organizing and tracking shipping of event supplies and onsite support when needed.
- Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with a variety of internal teams such as creative, retail, social, marketing, product, Specialized onsite staff, market-level teammates and external resources.
- Establish and uphold brand standards for Specialized Global Events that creates consistency across categories while integrating across departments.
- Ensure assets, event set-up and overall visuals are aligned with retail and evolution of how we show up as a brand.
- Work with event stakeholders to identify goals and objectives for events and ensure these are being hit.
- Manage provided event budgets from event concept phase through post-event.
- 1-2 years of related experience; event planning, project management or similar experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills, impeccable organization, obsessive attention to detail and outstanding follow‐through.
- Solid understanding of business goals and objectives, creative development process and Specialized's brand position in the industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a worldwide organization in supporting a variety of events.
- Able to adapt quickly with ambiguity and effectively prioritize multiple projects.
- Thrives on being detail oriented, hitting deadlines, and exceeding expectations to deliver high quality experiences that will make an impact for the business.
- Ability to travel- domestic and international
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field (Events, PR, Communication, Marketing.)
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
- Knowledge of event software systems such as Typeform, Yapp, etc.
