We are looking for Senior Technical Program Manager - Remote / Telecommute for our client in San Francisco, CA Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: San Francisco, CA Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range: $63.96hr - $68.96hr Develop a portfolio view of Payments programs scope and objectives and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility while driving projects end-to-end. Provide leadership with visibility into execution status, issues, and decisions. Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional initiatives aimed at increasing the productivity of technical teams. Enable teams to deliver against the roadmap by identifying technical dependencies and aligning with stakeholders to manage dependencies that may impact program success. Support quarterly and bi-annual release planning, resourcing, and risk mitigation activities. Manage effective communication with leadership and cross-functional teams regarding key decisions, status updates, and risks to ensure accountability and timeline management. Define and align success criteria with relevant stakeholders and regularly assess risks while identifying mitigation strategies. Partner with developer teams to develop and enforce high-quality internal documentation. Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and align priorities across Payments programs. Provide visibility into key performance indicators to help leaders understand risks and opportunities. Work independently with stakeholders and cross-functional leadership while maintaining focus on priorities and project details. Build a culture of trust within the team and help remove impediments that affect productivity. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational simplification and productivity. Skills: Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and convert complex problems into structured solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to influence stakeholders. Ability to work proactively and adapt to teams with different operating cadences. Experience developing new processes and frameworks where limited structure exists. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and strategic perspective. Experience working in highly cross-functional environments requiring collaboration with multiple teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Working knowledge of project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar task management platforms. Experience: 10+ years of experience in the software development industry. At least 7 years of experience working as a Technical Project Manager. Should Have: Experience working with large-scale ML or AI platforms. Experience contributing to AI-powered product development. Interest in building and maintaining products that leverage AI models. Qualification And Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
