Product Liability Litigator
The Position
A global beauty and consumer products company is seeking a senior product liability litigator to provide high-level strategic support on a large talc and asbestos docket. This role is ideal for an experienced defense-side attorney who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments and prefers shaping litigation strategy rather than running trials. You will assess risk across hundreds of cases, support board-level reporting, develop litigation and settlement strategy, and partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate broader business and legal options. The ideal candidate brings deep asbestos or talc experience, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, lean teams.
ASAP start, 20-25 hours/week, with an initial duration of 4-6 months, with potential to extend. The client is open tofully remote candidates with being in the NYC office once weekly a nice to have.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110and $117. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
